Meet the Artist
Wolf Ram, why do you make art?
I started painting and drawing before I could speak, so my communication has been more artistic in nature for over 50 years. For the first four decades that I designed by hand, my media were mainly colors and shapes as well as sounds. Then came photography and finally I discovered the digital world. Art is life for me.
How did you find out about NFT & what made you decide to deal with it and create NFTs yourself?
My wife introduced me to NFTs in early 2020. At first I wasn't really interested. A year later she showed me the NFT world again. I realized that my place in this world didn't exist yet. but I was very curious about this movement, to get to know this field and to create my own place. On this journey I encountered new opportunities, people, tools, tips and tricks every day. With my motivation I made quick progress and created my Genesis Collection CARISMAs (on Opensea) with my findings. In all of this, my decades of experience as an artist was and is a very helpful preparation.
What personal info do you want the audiences to know about you?
For me, art is the individual expression of what moves me inside. In it, impressions, experiences and insights are processed and shared with the world. At the beginning there is usually an idea that can develop intuitively in the course of the design process ... This is how my expression becomes art.
