Speakingtomato, why do you make art?
I am a professional photographer with over 15 years of experience specializing in creative photography. But lately, I've been calling myself "the photographer who traded in the camera for AI"! The arrival of AI has been like a fresh breath of air for me. I was obsessed with photography, but the camera and photoshop gave me less leeway. AI does. I create art because it overwhelms me from the inside out. Art comes from my imagination is filled with meaningful details.
How did you find out about NFT & what made you decide to deal with it and create NFTs yourself?
As a creative person, I had long heard stories about a magical NFT world, mostly celebrity success stories. I was forced to try my hand by coincidence. I was restricted in movement while rehabilitating after surgery. Rehabilitation was long; almost two months without action was the impetus for me to try my hand at NFT because I had time.
What personal info do you want the audiences to know about you?
The world knows me as Speakingtomato. I am a Ukrainian artist living in Turkey who creates figurative art in a melting pot of modernism, surrealism, and symbolism.
