Meet the Artist
Social Realm, why do you make art?
I’ve been very passionate about art since I was a child, but as I grow older, I started to find deeper meaning and purpose to my art. I started to paint to express my unspoken thoughts and emotions. It became a form of therapy for me. I write a lot too, and it feels satisfying to be able to paint what I write and vice versa.
How did you find out about NFT & what made you decide to deal with it and create NFTs yourself?
My husband was the one who introduced me to the concept of NFTs. I decided to jump on the bandwagon and produce NFTs on my own to bring to you all things self love and mental health by chanelling my creative juice. As aforementioned, making art is very therapeutic to me and it allows me to see myself more positively and I want to exude that same happiness and positivity to people who sees my art. I create positive & colourful messages that create space for positivity in your feed and spread happiness through digital art. My art act as constant variable to instil mental health awareness. I love to experiment and channel my thoughts with different mediums and concepts to create vibrant, visual connections to express emotions, provoke feelings, and reflect one’s consciousness and mental health.
What personal info do you want the audiences to know about you?
I’m a self-care and mental health advocate. A medical professional who also struggles from mental health issues with a deep interest and passion for art. A budding digital artist who loves exploring different techniques & incorporate colours in her work. Has a penchant in creating pieces with thought provoking narratives & tiny details of joy. My artworks are mostly self love orientated, but I like to paint things inspired by my own slice of life too. Vibrant colours & florals are my niche. Your best bud for daily dose of positivity and some pick-me-ups. Spreading happiness through digital art with hope to raise self care and mental health awareness through social media one day at a time.
Each pieces are carefully curated, with a combination of personal sharing, experience and sprinkles of professional knowledge. The pieces are also related to articles on mental health contents which I explore and indulge more in my blog posts.
Besides producing art, I also write mental health contents on my website.
