Nico. N, why do you make art?
Creation has a central place in my life. I need art, I need to produce, and it brings me a lot on many levels. Starting a creative project is a challenge; it involves learning, self-reflection and building confidence. Art stimulates, drives, motivates.
For me, the creative process is almost more important than the final production. It's in the process of creation that all emotions converge and take shape. The passion to create is essential.
How did you find out about NFTs & what made you decide to deal with it and create NFTs yourself?
I discovered NFTs about a year and a half ago when I was transitioning from photography to 3D design and digital art. Through artists I followed on social media, I discovered a world where digital art could fully thrive, blossom, and be showcased. I had kept my creations to myself for a while, not knowing what to do with them or where to share them. NFTs offered me the opportunity to showcase my work, share my passion, and connect with many talented artists.
What personal info do you want the audiences to know about you?
Like Clark Kent, I have a day job: I'm a professional architect. Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine, but it's only recently that I've shifted towards incorporating 3D design in my artwork. During the pandemic, when travel restrictions made it impossible for me to pursue my photography, I turned to 3D modeling. I started creating images of places and scenes that I couldn't physically visit anymore. This became a new way for me to create and evolve my art.
