„For me, the camera is a sketchbook, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity.“

Meet the Artist

Halil Ibrahim, why do you make art?
I'm a self-taught artist, I have always found art to be a way of escaping from the daily stress and turmoil of life. For me, it serves as a diary or journal, a place where I can express my innermost thoughts and emotions. Words and literature have never come easily to me, so I prefer to communicate my message through images. Visual art is a powerful medium for conveying ideas and experiences and that it has the ability to captivate, inspire and move people in ways that words alone cannot. Through my art, I can explore and process my experiences and share my unique perspective with the world.

How did you find out about NFT & what made you decide to deal with it and create NFTs yourself?
It has been quite a journey. My encounter with the term "NFT" began when the NBA Top Shot thing was at its peak. Intrigued, I attempted to mint some of my own artwork on ETH, only to fail twice in the process. Undeterred, I embarked on a long journey of learning about NFTs and the intricacies of smart contracts. After much research and education, I found myself drawn to the vibrant and supportive community of Tezos, and I have since become an active participant in the NFT world as an artist.

What personal info do you want the audiences to know about you?
This is your captain speaking. I'm Halil Ibrahim, currently, a senior undergrad student majoring in business, a photographer, a sort of web3 degen, and a real human being based in Istanbul, Turkiye.
