Dolly Kabaria, why do you make art?
Art-Photography is my happy place. My inspiration comes from „forms“ - be it natural or man-made, it gives unique perspectives the way one looks at it. Different angles, a different play of light, different tones, individually or in combinations can give a different outlook altogether.
How did you find out about NFT & what made you decide to deal with it and create NFTs yourself?
I continually keep searching for new avenues to use my art & photography. I have been using photos and photo-based art to make lifestyle and home accessory products, so when I first heard about NFT, I naturally got excited. The lockdown provided me a real opportunity to explore this wonderful space of metaverse. I had a couple of peers who helped me get started, and I found wonderful communities and made some amazing friends who encouraged me to come up with my genesis collection - „The Little Orbs“.
What personal info do you want the audiences to know about you?
I am an artist-photographer, whose work revolves around nature, time and space. I like to experiment with light, hues and texture to create visual stories through my photo art. My encounter with art began with paints before progressing to photography. Since my post-graduation in photography, I have earned various international juried awards, published in print and translated my photography to lifestyle and home accessories. Based in India, I have been photographing interior-architecture, industrial and products for more than a decade. My bold perception speaks through macro photography, panoramic views and 360-degree virtual tours.
