„Observing life with different eyes and spreading good vibes around the world”
Meet the Artist
Amara, why do you make art?
I've always been a very creative person and I've been interested in activities aimed at imagining and creating things. When I was a child I drew, painted and wrote poetry and later on as a teenager I started to notice a certain interest in photography, at first just as a game and a way of looking for different angles from those we are usually used to seeing.
However, I come from a military family and I have never lived directly with photographers or artists from other areas, I think that's why I ended up following the “expected” path and abandoned my artistic side to pursue a military career.
I don't believe in coincidences, I think that everything happens as it has to be, and it was precisely during my military career that I met some photographers and started to have my first contacts with photography in a more professional way. In 2010 I bought my first camera and started doing some work on the weekends. This contact with photography again made me look inside myself and look for what I really liked and wanted to do. It aroused an enormous need to express myself through art and that made me decide, a few years later, to abandon my military career and follow my dreams.
I believe that all art conveys a message, is capable of awakening feelings and raising important questions about ourselves and everything around us.Therefore, I try to expand perceptions to new realities and help people to see life with different eyes, noticing its nuances, its poetry and its beauties - which often go unnoticed by less attentive eyes.
It is through photography that I discover myself, express myself and share good vibes with the world.
How did you find out about NFTs & what made you decide to deal with it and create NFTs yourself?
I discovered NFT through a photographer I followed on social media. He had taken an NFT course aimed at photographers and I ended up becoming interested in the idea of having another way to share and sell my photographs. I took the course in early 2022 and a few months later I was already creating and selling my NFTs.
What attracts me to this NFT universe, besides of course being able to sell my work, is the fact that I can connect with people from all over the world, have control over my art, create communities and be part of building this new market that unites art and technology.
It's really inspiring to participate in all of this alongside so many talented artists I've met along the way.

What personal info do you want the audiences to know about you?
I'm Brazilian, born in a city in the interior of São Paulo.
I try to be a very optimistic person with life. I believe there are more positives than negatives in the world, it's all a matter of where you are looking and deciding to focus your attention.
So I look for inspiration in everything that makes me feel good. I like to observe nature, textures, lines and shapes. Feeling the wind on your face, the warmth of the morning sun, enjoying the colors in the sky, reading a good book, listening to music, writing poetry, dancing... Feeling like I'm alive!
I'm addicted to studying about self-knowledge and I'm very connected to matters of spirituality. I believe that everything is energy and everything is in motion all the time, vibrating! That's why blur and movement came very naturally in my work.
When I use these elements in my photography, it's as if I put aside what everyone sees, what is material, and capture only the energy and essence of things.
I love traveling, reading, listening to music, dancing, drinking coffee, wine, watching documentaries and series, cooking, and being with friends and family.
In general, I'm a very curious person, in the sense that I want to know a little about everything and connect with people who are willing to grow and evolve together. Whether it's sharing art, brainstorming ideas, helping, teaching or just being a good listener.
At the end of the day, it's all about trying to make today's world better than yesterday!
